This work was carried out by Victor Manuel Gonzalez y Gonzalez on short Research Internship at York. The work focussed on the applicability of Computer Mediated Communications tools to support communication and the exchange of information in distributed teams. In particular the work looked at the mix of social and task-oriented communication that took place in such teams.

Although none of the work was published some of the ideas generated can be found in the discussion of 新世佳彩票注册 in the HI2 course for MSc IP Students at York. In particular, the distinction between 'Hot' and 'Cold' Distributed Collaborative Work. The work also lead indirectly to a number of publications on virtual teal work (see below).
